The Central Coast MIT Enterprise Forum presents:\n\n“Building a Software Company: Maximizing Value From Start-up Through Liquidation”\n\nWednesday, October 15, 2003\n\n5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\n\nCabrillo Arts Pavillion\n1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd.\nSanta Barbara\n\nExit northbound Hwy 101 at Cabrillo Blvd. and turn left, or exit southbound Hwy 101 at Milpas and turn right, then turn LEFT on Cabrillo Blvd. Building is across the street from the Radisson Hotel.\n\nThe evening will open with a keynote address entitled “Trends and Valuations in the Software Industry” by Doug Burke, Managing Director of Montgomery & Co. and Louis Columbus, Senior Research Analyst with AMR Research. Immediately thereafter, Mike Wilson, VP of Business Development at Instant Effects, a Santa Barbara-based software start-up, will present his company's business model and development plans before a panel of experts. The panelists will critique the presentation, offering advice and insights into the world of launching a successful company in today's market.
