The Central Coast MIT Enterprise Forum presents an interesting evening of "Going Abroad: How Internet Companies Penetrate an International Market," offering in-depth presentations and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and business professionals alike.
The evening focuses on the challenges of growing a start-up business. The event opens with a detailed look at how domestic on-line companies can expand into foreign markets. Shortly thereafter, Bella-Online, a start-up located in the USC EC2 Incubator, presents their business plan before an expert panel. The panelists critique this presentation and offer their advice, experiences and insights into the world of launching an emerging growth company.
Also featured is George Lichter, President of Ask Jeeves International. Armed with the experience of attracting more than 1.1 million unique UK users in their first full month of operation, Mr. Lichter will offer insights into entering the international marketplace. |
