	Program Description:
	The Central Coast MIT Enterprise Forum presents a compelling program entitled "Raising Money in Uncertain Times" with quality networking opportunities and company presentations for entrepreneurs and business professionals alike. This event focuses on the challenges of raising capital and growing a start-up business. The evening is dedicated to the topic of raising money for emerging growth businesses via a keynote address and a panel discussion from industry experts, covering such topics as early stage financing, mezzanine financing and the successful exit strategies of acquisitions and public offerings. Since April 14, 2000, both public and private equity markets have seen major adjustments in the way companies are successfully raising capital. With this in mind, the panel discusses the challenges facing entrepreneurs today, which are very different from those of six months ago.
