Westlake Village, CA
Program Description:
The Central Coast MIT Enterprise Forum presents a dynamic evening of "Finding Yourself in a Wireless World" with quality networking opportunities and company presentations for entrepreneurs and business professionals alike.

This event focuses on the challenges of raising capital and growing a start-up business. The evening opens with an interesting presentation on computer/voice interaction by Rose Marcario, Chief Financial Officer of General Magic. Shortly thereafter, Axiom Navigation, a start-up located in Anaheim, presents their business plan before an expert panel. The panelists critique this presentation and offer their advice, war stories and insights into the world of launching an emerging growth company.

Wireless devices are invading every aspect of our life. No one can escape cell phones, pagers, and wireless communications devices that are becoming more prevalent in everyday activities. However, as these wireless devices become more evident, we may ask what will be the most effective application for these ubiquitous gadgets. This event offers two unique views of the wireless world we are living within.
